Personal Ministries
Every day that passes brings us nearer the end and. should bring us into a closer relationship with Jesus. We should be constantly watching unto prayer. Those with whom we associate day by day need our help and our guidance. They may be in such a condition of mind that a word in season will be sent home by the Holy Spirit as a nail in a sure place. Tomorrow some of these souls may be where we can never reach them again. What is our influence over these fellow travellers? What effort do we make to win them to Christ? {9T 27.1}
“Every son and daughter of God is called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men” (The MH, p. 395).
The Personal Ministries Department was established as a major setting for soul winning activities in the Church. Its purpose is to inspire, train, equip, and encourage all members for dynamic Christian service with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service” (MH, p. 148)
The Personal Ministries Department here in Aberdeen aims to communicate the good news of salvation all around the city, towns and villages, with the objective of making a difference in the lives of many, nurturing and ensuring their development in Christ. We are working together to develop programs and find resources to help in these communities and in other parts of the world where church work is needed.
Our major goal is to train, equip and involve the whole church in a concerted and united effort of finishing the work of God in this part of the vineyard to the honour and glory of Jesus.
